PAUL W. MANLEY, age 68, of Eaton, Ohio died Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Golden Rule Living Center in Richmond, Indiana. Born on July 11, 1938 in Connersville, Indiana he was the son of the late Urven & Ruth Marjorie (Thicksten) Manley. In 1996 he retired from General Motors-Delphi division after 28 years of service. He attended Dixon High School in Eaton and North Vernon High School in Indiana. From 1956 to 1958 he served in the U.S. Army and is a member of the American Legion Post 215 in Eaton. While in high school he loved to play baseball and coached for the Eaton Little League for several years. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers: Joe and Kenneth Manley and his sisters: Wilma Kruse and Maxine Schnitzius.

He is survived by his sons & daughter-in-law: Jeff and Linda Manley of Eaton and Doug Manley of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother & sister-in-law: Phillip D. & Billie Jo Manley of Liberty, Indiana; sisters: Leota Bailey of Hamilton, Ohio, Mary Beard of Loveland, Colorado and Barbara Arthur of Connersville, Indiana and two grandsons: Shane and Ethan Manley.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Barnes Funeral Home- 220 East Main St. - Eaton, Ohio 45320 with Rev. Trevor Bridgeford officiating. Interment with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Preble County Humane Society- P.O. Box 72 - Eaton, Ohio 45320.
