Pattie Lee Tighe

Pattie Lee (Bohlman) Tighe, 80, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at her home. Born on February 4, 1941 in Spencer, South Dakota, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert Helmuth & Carol Maxine (Winans) Bohlman.  

Pattie earned her bachelor’s degree in Education from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and her Master of Arts degree from the University of Dayton. She was an accomplished author of several books including Stay Well Without Going Broke, Country Wines, Making Wild Wines and Meads and Cordials from Your Kitchen. 

Preceded in death by Husbands: Richard Gulling, Sr. in 2000, Allen H. Vargas in 1993 and Gary Stewart Tighe in 2020. 

Survived by her Children: Richard (Kirsten) Gulling, Jr, David (Lisa Nadasi) Gulling and Toni (Glen) Northrop; Siblings: Susan (Dick) Elton, Debbie (Darrell Streff) Ingalls, Lynne (Bill) Casey, Cindy (Marvin) Morrison and Gilbert "Gib" (Marcie Mack) Bohlman, 7 Grandchildren Richard Gulling III, Nicholas Gulling, Joseph Gulling, Dakota Gulling, Taryn (Jobe) Hickey, Alex Northrop, and Caroline Northrop; 2 Great Grandchildren: Knox & Paxton Hickey. Many Nieces and Nephews. 

Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH. The family will receive friends from 3 – 5 P.M. prior to the service.   

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you are required to wear a facemask prior to entering the funeral home and practice social distancing.
