Nellie E. Snyder

NELLIE E.“NELL” SNYDER, age 97 of Eaton, Ohio died Sunday, December 15, 2002 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton. Born on February 28, 1905 in Kerrs Creek, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Frank & Annie (Mohler) Miller. She had been employed at the Preble County Home, Cliffton Shirt Factory and the Preble County Children’s Home. Member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and she also attended the First Church of God in Eaton. Preceded in death by Husband: J. Herman Snyder in 1984, Sister: Mary Elizabeth Phipps, Half Brothers: Cleo Miller and Robert E. Miller.

Survived by Foster Daughter: Mary Ruth Good, Albuquerque, NM, Half Sister & Brother-in-law: Virginia & Virgil Braddy, Slidell, Louisiana; 2 Grandchildren, Several Great Grandchildren and several Nieces & Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2002 - 11:00 A.M. at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main St. - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Jerry Reynolds officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 18, 2002 from 4 - 6 P.M. at the funeral home.
