Miriam H. Sexten

Miriam H. (Cushwa) Sexten, age 93 of Germantown, OH died Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton, OH. Born on June 19, 1918 in Jamestown, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Glenna Ray & Achsah C. (Myers) Cushwa. Miriam and her husband lived in Columbus, Ohio, Tucson, AZ and moved to Germantown in 2008. She retired from The Ohio State University Athletic Department Ticket Sales.

Preceded in death by her husband of 74 years: Marlin R. Sexten in 2010; Son: Marlin "Mike" Sexten in 2001 and Daughter: Sondra Cook in 2008; Sister Evelyn Glass.

Survivors: Five Grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Home – 220 East Main Street – Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Charles Rinehart officiating. Family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 to 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be 2:00 PM in Old Silver Creek Cemetery in Jamestown, Ohio.
