Mildred P. Gottschalk

MILDRED P. GOTTSCHALK, age 90, of Eaton, Ohio died Thursday June 28, 2007 at Heartland of Eaton. Born on December 16, 1916 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Pauline (Canypisok) Mikaden. Her family lived in New Jersey before moving to Ohio in 1950. Mildred retired in 1978 from the Leland Hotel in Richmond, Indiana where she served as a waitress.

Preceded in death by her husband: John Henry Gottschalk in 1985; brother Michael Mikaden in 1980.

Survived by her sons and daughter-in-law: John & Barbara Gottschalk of Kettering, Ohio, William Gottschalk of Clayton, Ohio and Stephen Gottschalk of Centerville, Indiana. Sister: Marion Hagerty of Cranbury, New Jersey. Six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2007 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio 45320 with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton. Family will receive friends on Monday, July 2, 2007 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
