Melinda G. Gillette

Melinda G. Gillette, age 53 of Gratis, Ohio passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022. Born on May 3, 1968 in Middletown, Ohio, daughter of Gerald L. & Barbara S. (Baker) Gillette.

She graduated from Preble Shawnee in 1987 and had worked at KFC for a few years afterwards. Melinda loved to play Roblox with Hailey. She enjoyed watching reality shows. She also loved listening to music including Elvis Presley and Harry Styles.

Preceded by her mother, Barbara S. Gillette; brother, Gerald Alton Gillette; brother-in-law, Chris Combs.

Survived by her father, Gerald L. Gillette; sisters, Melissa Webb, Michelle Combs and Glenda (Scott) Hughes; brother, Glenn L. (Susan) Gillette; nieces and nephews, Knatasha, Holly, Luejack, MacGyver, Shayla, Shane, Xena, Angelina, Madison, Scottie, Grace, Austin & Paige; great niece and best friend, Hailey.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio. Interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery at Gratis, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. prior to funeral.
