Maude Irene Dunkel

Maude Irene Dunkel, age 102 of Eaton, Ohio died, Friday, August 17, 2012 at Greenbriar Nursing Home in Eaton, Ohio. Born on August 16, 1910 in Richmond, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late John L. & Pearl (Gibson) Conolly. Irene was the owner of a Beauty Shop from 1929 to 1945, had lived in Eaton since 1959 and taught music since 1968. Member of the Preble County Lyric Club. Former Member of the Alpha Garden Club in Eaton, Ohio. Member of the Eaton United Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by her Husband, Chalmer Edward Dunkel in 1968; Brothers, Ray Conolly and Virgil Conolly; Nephew, Don Hoover; Niece, Judy Conolly.

Survived by Sister, Lorraine Hawkins of Richmond, Indiana; Nieces & Nephews, Carol & Jim Ray, Jeff Ray, Jordan Ray and Ruth Hoover all of Richmond, Indiana and Jack Conolly of Indianapolis, Indiana, Gary Hoover and Patty Hoover both of San Diego, California and Jack Hoover of Marion, Indiana.

Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Roger L. Stine officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio.
