Mary Harding

Mary Harding, age 93, of Beavercreek, OH, died, Jan. 11, 2012. Born on May 11, 1918 in Lewisburg, OH, she was the daughter of the late Edgar & Elizabeth Mae (Myers) Bennett. Mary graduated in 1936 from Lewisburg Union High School. She was an artist, seamstress, and loved flowers & birds. Mary loved her family dearly and was a loving wife, mother and grandma.

Preceded in death by her husband: Richard Harding in 2008; grandson: John Mehall in 1986; daughters-in-law: Helen Harding in 1983 and Zinny Harding in 2009; son-in-law: Robert Stevens in 2009; sisters: Eva & Gladys Bennett, and Ruth Tankersley; brothers-in-law: Ken Tankersley & Bud Hurley; brothers: Bill, Richard, Eugene, & Luther Bennett.

Survived by her children: Dick (Helen) Harding of Beavercreek, OH, Sharon Stevens of Dayton, OH, Robert (Barbara) Harding of Evergreen, CO and Doug Harding of Miamisburg, OH; grandchildren: Mary Ann (Steve), Rich (Keeley), Jesse, Angela (Steven), Mike (Katie), Adam, Emily & Paul (Courtney); step grandchildren: Ivan (Angie), Marie (Jason), and Amy (Brett); great grandchildren: Alex, Maria, Gabbie, A.J., Adrienne, Joey, Allison, Eric, Christopher, Jackson, Logan, and Hannah; step great grandchildren: Alex, Andy, Jack, Nick, Morgan, and Mya; sisters: Jeanette (Don) Wright and Nina (Bob) Hahn of Lewisburg, and Betty Hurley of Brookville; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, January 16, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Rev. Charlie Rinehart. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Visitation from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Monday at the funeral home.
