Mary Frances Hagood

Mary Frances (Willsey) Hagood, 89 of Eaton, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio. Born on August 14, 1933 in Seven Mile, Butler County, Ohio, daughter of the late, Carl G. & Cecilia R. (Shockey) Willsey.

Mary was a caretaker of the Preble County Fairgrounds for 17 years.

Member of the Church of God in Oxford, Ohio.

Preceded by her husband of 26 years, Burrell C. “Bill” Hagood; sons, Charles Hagood, James Hagood, and Roger Hagood; brothers, William E. Willsey and Fred Willsey.

Survived by her sister, Margie Finley; sister-in-law, Nancy Willsey; several nephews and a niece.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Friday, January 13, 2023 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio. Interment will be held at Hopewell Cemetery in Morning Sun, Preble County, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Friday, January 13, 2023 at the funeral home in Eaton.
