Mary Elizabeth Cupp

MARY ELIZABETH CUPP, age 87, of Camden, Ohio, died Friday, March 14, 2008 in Camden. Born on June 9, 1920 in Preble County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Homer G. & Alice E. (Hime) Root. She was a life member of the Brethren Lutheran Church and Camden Community Church where she attended on a regular basis. She loved to spend time with her family, do crossword puzzles, watch the "Wheel" and Jeopardy. In 1961 she married Robert Henry Reynolds and to this marriage her precious son Mark Alan Reynolds was born. On March 12, 1966, she married the love of her life, Eugene Ross Cupp whom preceded her August 10, 1994.

Also preceded in death by Sister: Clara Stevenson; Brothers: Ernest J. "Bud" Root, Vernon and William Root. 3 Brother-in-laws.

Survived by Sons & Daughters-in-law: Mark A. & Kathy (Gault) Reynolds, Eaton, OH, Eugene R. & Joanna Cupp, Jr., Camden, OH; Sisters: Alice Ballinger, Camden, OH and Alberta Nelson, Brookville, OH; Sister-in-law: Melvie Root of Oklahoma; 3 Grandchildren: Amber, Karen and John; 2 Great Grandchildren: Jonathon and Ashley. Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 - 1:00 p.m. at the Nein-Barnes Funeral Home - 249 North Main Street - Camden, Ohio with Pastor Doug Rose officiating. Interment will be held in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family of Mary Cupp would like to thank her granddaughter Amber who stayed with grandma after her illness and took care of her. Two special niece's Marylee Cox and Roberta Moore who helped out and spent a lot of time with her. Also her Pastor Doug Rose and Dr. James Thomson who she though was the best. We have all lost a special angel here on Earth, but she's where she has been waiting to go.
