Mary C. Lackey

Mary Catherine Lackey, age 99, of Camden, OH, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at her residence. Born on May 21, 1915 in Darke County, OH, she was the daughter of the late Mahlon C. & Orpha (Geeting) Emrick. She was the Owner/Operator of Mary's Jewelry Store in Camden and was active in many bowling leagues throughout the years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Camden.

Preceded in death by her husband: James M. Lackey in 1994; sisters: Wilma M. Brower and Ruthanna Montgomery; brother: Harley A. Emrick.

She is survived by her sons & daughter-in-law: Jimmy E. (Nancy) Lackey, Turlock, CA, Kevin L. Lackey, Cincinnati, OH; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Private Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be held in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden with Rev. Dr. Greg Jackson officiating. There will be no visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to Camden Emergency Squad or to the Camden-Somers Twp., Fire Department.
