Martha Jean Mcdaniel

Martha Jean McDaniel, 76 of West Carrollton, Ohio, died Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the Laurelwood Assisted Living, Dayton. Born on September 26, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harley Woodrow & Ella Nora (Harrison) Ashworth. Martha was a Co-Owner and Operator of the Nationwide Trailer Sales and Classic Travel Group with her husband in West Carrollton, Ohio. She was a 1962 graduate of West Carrollton High School. She loved arts, crafts, sewing & reading and being Gabba to her beloved grandchildren. 

Preceded in death by her Son: Todd Ray McDaniel in 2017; Siblings: Patricia Rote, William Ashworth.  

Survived by her Husband of 56 years: Gary P. McDaniel; Daughter & Son-in-law: Heidi (Denis) Hammaker; Daughter-in-law: Kristi Eve McDaniel; Brother: Robert Ashworth and Richard (Diane) Ashworth; Sisters: Janice Williams and Nancy Yantis; Sister-in-law: Sondra Strayer; Grandchildren: Alysha (Dave) Bechtel, Morganne (fiancé Justin Wright) Hammaker, Alexa (Josh) McDaniel-Shotwell, Micah (Brandon Pena) Hammaker and Austin Hammaker. Great Grandchildren: Allisa and Jaxin Shotwell, Dalton, Adler and one on the way Bechtel. Many Nieces and Nephews. 

Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, Ohio with Lisa Clark officiating.
