Margaret Tuggle

Margaret Tuggle, 93, of Eaton, OH, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Vancrest Nursing and Healthcare Center in Eaton. Born on July 12, 1920 in Eaton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Harry & Helen (Eikenberry) Eminger. Margaret was a 1938 graduate of Germantown High School, attended Miami University in Oxford, OH and graduated in 1942 from The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. She was a social worker and worked for the Preble County Children Services and the Preble County Juvenile Court. Margaret was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Preble County College Club, the Preble County Historical Society all of Eaton, and Chi Omega college sorority. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Tuggle in 1976.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Jean Tuggle of Eaton; daughters and son-in-law, Nancy and John Diamond of Hilton Head, SC and Julie Tuggle of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Julie and William Caldwell, Meredith and Timothy Skinner and Steven Feinberg and fiancée Stacy Kaltenbach; great grandchildren, Grant and Reid Caldwell and Lauren and Dylan Skinner.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 123 West Decatur St., Eaton, Ohio with the funeral service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton.
