Mabel Pauline Kreitzer

MABEL P. KREITZER, 97, of Eaton, Ohio, died Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton. She was born on July 28, 1914 in Eaton, Ohio, daughter of the late Robert Lee & Lottie Irene (Eddy) Pitsinger. Mabel was a 1931 Eaton High School graduate, member of the New Hope United Methodist Church and in 1976 retired from the Eaton Book Shop where she was a clerk for 10 years. Mabel was also employed at Lawson Brothers, Miller's Supermarket, The Eaton Tent Company, Indianapolis Glove Factory and Shrack's in Eaton.

In addition to her parents, Mabel is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Paul A. Kreitzer in 1996; sisters, Rachael Pitsinger, Eunice Brannon Martin and Christine Roselius; brothers, Roy, Raymond, Ralph, Reese, Rife, Riley and Rex Pitsinger.

Mabel is survived by her nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio 45320 with Rev. Kathy O'Donnell officiating. Interment will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery near West Alexandria, Ohio. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
