Lynne J. Harmon

Lynne J. Harmon, 70, of Eldorado, OH, died unexpectedly Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Reid Hospital, Richmond, IN. She was born November 19, 1937 in Grove City, PA., the daughter and only child of Robert and Fannie (Swager) Darr. In 1956 she graduated high school in Warren, OH, and on March 19, 1960, she married Wayne Harmon. During their marriage, Lynne worked as a bus driver for the C.R. Coblentz school district and was employed by the TA Truck Stop. She was a past member of the North Central Rescue Squad, and loved bowling, playing bingo, making ceramics, going to the fair (especially to see the 4-H animals), and most of all, she loved her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma, who will be missed by all.

Lynne was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Wayne; 4 daughters: Becky (Brian) Ebersole & Cheryl (Kent) West, of Eldorado; Renee` (Rodger) Mart of Brookville, OH; Roberta (Keith) Mackey of Xenia, OH; 2 sons: Jeff (Cheryl) Harmon, Verona, OH.; Jimmy (Lisa) Harmon, Eldorado, OH; 11 grandchildren: Melinda Burr, Justin Washington, Eric Washington, Kami Ebersole, Matthew Adams, Brandon Harmon, Vanessa Harmon, Rodger Mart, Ryan Mart, Colton Schmidt, Dalton Harmon; 9 great-grandchildren; & sister-in-law, Carol Baker, Seymour, TN.

Funeral service for Lynne J. Harmon will be Thursday, June 12, 11:00AM at the Bussard-Barnes-Vaniman Funeral Home, 311 N. Main St., Eldorado, OH with Pastor Paul Wesler officiating. Burial will follow in Wares Chapel Cemetery, West Manchester, OH. Friends may call Wednesday, June 11 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
