Louise B. Kesler

LOUISE B. KESLER, 93, of Lewisburg, Ohio died Wednesday, July 23, 2008 in Lewisburg. She was born on January 12, 1915 in Phillipsburg, Ohio, daughter of the late Warren & Wilda (Peffley) Speicher. She was a 1932 graduate of Phillipsburg High School and was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lewisburg. During World War II she went to work at McCall's. Following the war she worked briefly at the Otterbein Press and American Abrasive. She loved music especially the violin and the organ and she loved to sew and was a member of the Harrison Township Homemakers in Lewisburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence A. Kesler in 1977; step-son, Kenneth Kesler in 1995; step-grandson, Sammy Kesler in 1956; step great grandson, Kenny Kesler in 2008 and brother, Carl Edwin Speicher in 1935.

Survived by brother, Wesley Speicher of Phillipsburg, Ohio; step-grandsons, Larry G.(Elaine) Kesler of Las Vegas, Nevada, Eric I. (Valerie) Kesler and Kevin D. (Brenda) Kesler both of Lewisburg; step-daughter-in-law, Mary Jo Kesler of Lewisburg; several great and great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at the Trinity Lutheran Church- 511 North Commerce St., Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Michael D. Pratt officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church.
