Loretta Pottenger

Loretta Pottenger, age 81 of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.  Born on May 3, 1940 in Leslie County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Bradley & Linda (Muncy) Mosley. 

Loretta loved nature and music.  Member of Jehovah’s Witnesses Congregation in Somerset, Kentucky.  

Preceded by her brothers, Eddie Roger Mosley, Otis Mosley, Herman Mosley, and Arlan Mosley; sister, Clara June Alcorn. 

Survived by her husband of 62 years, Val Junior Pottenger of Science Hill, Kentucky; Children, Mark E. Pottenger of Verona, Ohio, Kevin Pottenger of Fairborn, Ohio, Denise Anderson of Huber Heights, Ohio, Jennifer E. (Scott) Kowanick of Dayton, Ohio and Robert Pottenger of Science Hill, Kentucky; numerous grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Located on St. Rt. 503 North of West Alexandria, Ohio.
