Lois G. Holland

LOIS GENE HOLLAND, age 91, of Greenville, OH and formerly of Eaton, OH, died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville, OH. Born on April 1, 1923 in Gratis, OH, she was the daughter of the late James and Sarah (Eby) Kiracofe. Lois retired in 1984 from Miller's Supermarket in Eaton. She was a 1941 Eaton High School graduate and a member of the Eaton Church of the Brethren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Samuel Holland, Jr. in 2002; infant son: Charles Neil Holland in 1951; brothers: John and Charles Kiracofe; sisters: Margaret Shafer, Kathryn Kiracofe, Winifred Loser, Ruth Kiracofe, Mildred Kiracofe, Martha Nipp, Dorothy Moore and Elizabeth Wampler.

Survived by her daughter & son-in-law: Tharon & Michael Randall, Naples, FL; son and daughter-in-law: Phil & Mary Holland, Los Gatos, CA; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Luis) Guerra, Catherine (Matthew) Chestnut, Colleen Holland, Andrew (Whitney) Holland, Nicholas Holland and Katherine Holland; great grandchildren, Alex and Elena Guerra and Greyson Holland; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 1:00 p.m.at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Stan Van Ausdal officiating. Interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery in Gratis, OH. Family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.at the funeral home.
