Leona E. Cartwright

LEONA E. CARTWRIGHT, 83, of Lebanon, Ohio and formerly of Eaton, Ohio died Thursday, September 2, 2004 at the Otterbein Retirement Community. Born on November 20, 1920 in Wayne Township(Warren County), Ohio she was the daughter of the late Alfred & Reva (Shehan) Hay. She was a homemaker in her own home and had shared in the farming responsibilities with her husband Harley who preceded her in death in 1995. She is a member of the Wares Chapel United Methodist Church in West Manchester. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by a Sister: Alberta Murphy in 1994.

She is survived by her daughters: Phyllis J. Cartwright of Cincinnati, Ohio, Carol A. Cartwright of Columbus, Ohio and Mary E. Cartwright of Franklin, Ohio and fiancé: Larry Back of Middletown, Ohio; Special Friend: Cleora “Cleo” Hill of Centerville, Ohio. Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. (Ohio Time) on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at Barnes Funeral Home-220 East Main Street- Eaton, Ohio 45320 with Rev. Ken Galdeen officiating. Interment will be held at 1:00 P.M. in Miami Cemetery near Waynesville, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 7, 2004 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. (Ohio Time) at the funeral home and One hour prior to the service. Memorial Contributions may be made to Wares Chapel United Methodist Church - 1060 Foos Rd.
