Johnny C. Hosbrook

Johnny C. Hosbrook, age 81 of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Friday, February 17, 2023 at his residence. Born on February 7, 1942 in Phillipsburg, Ohio, he was the son of the late Ralph G. & Ethel L. (Ullery) Hosbrook.

Johnny retired in 2022 after 50 years in the real estate business. He started his career in 1972 with Warner Realty that later evolved in 1982 to Twin Valley Realty where he served as owner and operator. In 1995, the name changed to B.E.I. Real Estate, and he was a Realtor/Broker and retired from Better Homes and Gardens Big Hill Real Estate. He served as a Harrison Township Trustee for many terms and was a lifelong Harrison Township farmer. A member of SonRise Church in Ithaca, Ohio where he served as a trustee. A West Milton High School graduate, former member of the Preble and Montgomery County Board of Realtors, Libanus Lodge #80 in Lewisburg, Lewisburg Lions Club, and had bought livestock for the Lewisburg 4-H Club. He loved making crafts in his shop.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his Daughter: Kimberly Ann Morris in 2021; Brother-in-law: Jerry Malott.

Survived by his Wife of 56 years: Marilyn Ann (Malott) Hosbrook; Daughter: Julie (Bill Hamby) Hosbrook; Siblings: Gary (Clistia) Hosbrook and Penny Rich; Sister-in-law: Janet (Larry) Werner; Brother-in-law: Terry (Rhonda) Malott; Grandchildren: Blake A. (Meagan) Sandlin, Dayna, and A. J.; Great Grandchildren: Devin, Sophia, Aaliyah, Easton, Rylee and Annie. Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio with Pastor Marla Brown officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Masonic Service will be held at 12:45 P.M.
