Joanne Stone

Joanne (Aker) Stone, age 88, formerly of Eaton, Ohio, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 in Venice, Florida. Born on September 5, 1923 in Eaton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Howard Turner & Fannie E. (Penland) Aker. Joanne retired as Branch Manager at Bank of America, in Wellsley, Mass.

Preceded in death by Husband, Donald E. Stone in 2008; Brothers, Robert J. Aker in 1921 and James Wendall Aker in 1996.

Survived by Daughter, Laurie Stone-Bowers; Son, William H. Stone; Grandchildren, Chad Bowers, Ben Bowers, Jill Bowers-Aycock, Brent Stone, Jesse Stone; Great Grandchild, Alex Aker-Aycock.

Public Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2012 in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton with Rev. Chris Farmer officiating. There will be no public calling.
