Joanne Tucker

Mary JoAnne Tucker, 72 of Lewisburg, OH went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 21, 2011. Born on February 19, 1939 in Dayton, OH, daughter of the late Dennis R. & Mary M. (Peterseim) Elliott. JoAnne is a 1957 graduate of Fairview - White High School in Dayton, OH. She had worked as a secretary for Dayton Power & Light in Dayton, Ohio for many years and as an office clerk for Miami Valley Vision Care/Vision Source in Eaton, OH for several years. Member of the First United Church of Christ in Lewisburg, OH.

Preceded in death by husband, Jerry L. Tucker on July 12, 2010; son, Michael A. Tucker on November 1, 2003.

Survivors include son & daughter-in-law, Martin & Deborah Tucker of Lewisburg, OH; brother, Timothy R. Elliott of West Milton, Ohio; granddaughters, Taylor and Taryn; several cousins, aunt, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, OH 45338 with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, OH. Family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, April 25, 2011 at the funeral home.
