Jack D. Hughes

Jack D. Hughes, age 74 of Richmond, Indiana died Monday morning, June 20, 2005 at his residence. Born on October 12, 1930 in Richmond, Indiana the son of the late William & Leona (Morris) Hughes. He was a 1948 Jefferson Township - New Paris graduate. He retired in 1996 after 24 years service with Hoffco in Richmond, Indiana as a Tool & Die Maker and Foreman of the Tool Room. Jack loved to play golf. Preceded in death by a brother: William Hughes.

Survived by Wife of 54 years: Doris M. (Johnson) Hughes; sons & daughters-in-law: Steven W. & Teresa Hughes of Liberty, IN., Jeffrey L. & Sally Hughes of Richmond, IN and Jack Gregory Hughes of Richmond, IN. Daughter & Son-in-law: Amy M. & Gary Tebbe of Brookville, IN; brothers & sister-in-law: Robert Hughes of Madisonville, TN, Kenneth & Jeannine Hughes of Warner Robbins, GA; sister & brother-in-law: Betty & Fred Brown of Green Bay, WI. 2 granddaughters: Kerri & Trent Howell of Richmond, IN and Megan Hughes of Liberty, IN; 4 grandsons: Steve Hughes, Jr and Zachary Hughes both of Liberty, IN., Nicholas Tebbe of Brookville, IN and Ron & Jerri Degner of Cincinnati, OH; 2 great granddaughters: Allison Howell of Richmond, IN and Breanne Degner of Cincinnati, OH.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. (Ohio time) Thursday, June 23, 2005 at Barnes Funeral Home -109 West Main Street-New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Phillip Dorrell officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris. Family will receive friends Wednesday June 22, 2005 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. (Ohio time) at the funeral home.
