Jack C. Bernheisel

JACK C. BERNHEISEL, 86, of Lewisburg, OH, died Sunday, October 14, 2012 in Lewisburg. Born on September 29, 1926 in Englewood, OH, he was the son of the late Otto C. & Garnet E. (Dubbs) Bernheisel. Jack retired in 1992 as an Investigator for Accident Reconstruction in Raleigh, NC, a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II, former member of American Legion Post 707 in Englewood, OH and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brookville.

Preceded in death by Sisters: Mildred Ditmer and Dorothy Winslow; Brothers: Ralph, Howard, William and Gene Bernheisel.

Survived by Wife of 64 years: Billie Joan (Royer) Bernheisel; Children: Mark C. (Marilyn) Bernheisel, Lewisburg, OH, Jack W. (Michelle) Bernheisel, Miamisburg, OH and Diana (John) Barr, Lewisburg, OH. 5 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Dr. Richard Donovan officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg with military honors by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
