Imogene Brown

IMOGENE BROWN age 89, formerly of New Paris, Ohio died Friday, October 24, 2003 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Born on June 22, 1914 in New Madrid County, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late James William & Lena (Rosecrans) Croslow. She was a former member of the New Paris Chapter #310 Eastern Star and currently member of Ideal Chapter #293 of Lewisburg. Preceded in death by Husband: Russell Lee Brown in 1976; Sisters: Rubelle Lawson & Gerri Wells; Brother: Jim Croslow; Half Brother: Lewis Croslow; Grandson: David Cooper; Great Granddaughter: Kiersten Sierra Stokes.

Survived by a Son & Daughter-in-law: Donald & Patricia Stokes, New Paris, Ohio; Daughters & Sons-in-law: Shirley & Phil Cooper, Richmond, Indiana, Lynda & Steve Moore, New Paris, Ohio; Sister: Opal Croslow, Evansville, Indiana; 6 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews.

Graveside Service will be held on Monday, October 27, 2003 - 11:00 A.M. in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris. Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 26, 2003 from 4 to 7P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, Ohio. Eastern Star Service will be held at 6:45 P.M. followed by the funeral service at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Gilmer Smith officiating.
