Howard William Yanda

Howard W. Yanda, 92, of Sidney, OH and formerly of Eaton, OH, died Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in Sidney. Born on April 20, 1922 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Rudolph L. and Maranda (Jones) Yanda. Howard was a retired Pharmacist. He was a 1940 Crafton, PA High School graduate, 1949 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, a WW II U.S. Army veteran, 50 plus year member of Milnor Lodge #287 F & A.M. in Pittsburgh, PA and was a member of the United Church of Christ in Sidney, OH.

Preceded in death by his sister: Martha Giffin; Brother: Rudolph Yanda.

Survived by his Wife of 46 years: Betty I. (Kindler) Yanda; Daughter: Susan E. Yanda, Cleveland, OH; 3 nephews and 1 niece.

Private Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria, OH.
