Hester L. Andy

Hester Louise (Bass) Andy, 81, of Greenville, Ohio and formerly of New Paris, Ohio died, Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Sterling House of Greenville. She was born on August 18, 1933 in Darke County, Ohio, daughter of the late Elisha E. and Anna B. (Cousins) Bass. She worked for Dr. Mills a well know Veterinarian in New Paris for many years. Hester attended the Church of Christ and was an auxiliary member of the American Legion Post # 360 both of New Paris.

In addition to her parents, Hester is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Charles R. Andy in 2005 and her brother-in-law, Richard Burden.

She is survived by her sisters and brother-in-law, Shirley and Richard Epps and Margaret Burden all of Greenville; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Barnes Funeral Homes, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Alan D. Keesling officiating. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris. Family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 a.m.to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
