Hazel May Deboo

Hazel May DeBoo, 93, of New Paris, OH, died Friday, July 20, 2012 at Vancrest Healthcare Center in Eaton. Born on April 15, 1919 in Union City, OH, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Oscar & Mary Eliza (Vermillion) Hart.

She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in New Paris and the Dana Camping Club. Preceded in death by her daughter: Joyce Harris in 2004; sons: John and David DeBoo in 2001; brother: Omer Hart and sister: Ruthanna Pipenger.

Survived by Husband of 48 years: Paul DeBoo; Children: Linda (Nathan) Taggart, New Paris, OH, Julia (Jeff) Jeans, Huber Heights, OH, Daniel (Lori) DeBoo, West Alexandria, OH and Sonya (Omer) Barker, Eaton, OH; son-in-law: Bill Harris, Richmond, IN; 18 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, OH with Kathy Brawley officiating. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
