Hazel C. Erhardt

HAZEL C. ERHARDT, age 84, of Somerville, OH, died Thursday, September 25, 2008 at her residence. Born on July 20, 1924 in Mt. Healthy, OH, she was the daughter of the late John & Clara (Herbold) Nippert. Hazel was a 1942 Mt. Healthy graduate. She was married to Fred H. Erhardt, Jr. on February 14, 1946 in the Mt. Healthy Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on May 17, 2001. In 1948 they moved to their Butler County farm in Wayne township. A member of the Collinsville Presbyterian Church, she was a children's Sunday school teacher for over 20 years and was Sunday school superintendent for many years. She was active in the operation of Hazefred Holsteins for 60 years and loved growing and arranging flowers.

Survived by daughter & son-in-law: Beverly (Donald) Garrett, Eaton, OH; son: Bruce Erhardt, Somerville, OH; grandson: Aaron (Trisha) Garrett; great grandchildren: Mallory & Bryson Garrett, all of Fairfield Twp., OH.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 - 10:00 a.m. at the Collinsville Presbyterian Church, 5091 Hamilton - Eaton Road, Collinsville, OH with Pastor Mike Gabbard officiating. Interment will be held in Fairmound Cemetery in West Elkton, OH. Family will receive friends on Monday, September 29, 2008 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Nein-Barnes Funeral Home - 249 North Main Street - Camden, Ohio.
