Harold L. Shaffer

Harold L. Shaffer, age 75, of Eaton, Ohio died Saturday, January 25, 2003 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Born on June 11, 1927 in Eaton, Ohio he was the son of the late John A. & Goldie M. (Brenner) Shaffer. He was a Korean War Veteran and was a Heavy Equipment Operator for the State of Ohio. Preceded in death by Brothers Edward E. Shaffer in 1997, Alvie Shaffer in 1975, William H. Shaffer in 1975 and Leonard A. Shaffer in 1994. Sisters: Helen L. Yount and Thelma Shaffer.

Survived by Son: Bob Carr of California; Niece & Nephew: June & Tom Davis of Eaton, Ohio.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2003 - 1:00 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Pastor Steve Wright officiating. Interment will be in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio with full Military Honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
