Harold D. Curry

Harold D. "Donnie" Curry, age 80, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Sunday, October 7, 2012 at his residence. Born on July 30, 1932 in Richmond, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Sanford E. & Anna Louise (Garrison) Curry. Member of the Moose Lodge of Richmond, Indiana, Lewisburg Lions Club and F.O.E. in Eaton, Ohio. Owner & Operator of Flea Markets, Sleepytime Motel & Dreamland Motel in Lewisburg, Ohio for many years.

Harold proudly served in the US Air Force during the Korean War.

Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice (Bender) Curry in 1989; brothers, John Russell Curry, Fred Douglas Curry, Ernie Baxter Curry and Nevel Ray Curry.

Survived by his sons, Ricardo "Rick" (Rose) Curry of Lynchburg, Ohio, Jeff (Teresa) Curry of Wilmington, Ohio and Marcus (Barbara) Curry of Union City, Indiana; sisters, Ella "Faye" (John) Houston of Midland, Ohio and Lottie (Lowell) Hapner of Florida; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio 45320 with Rev. McClellan Nicholson officiating. Interment will be in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home in Eaton. Condolences at www.barnesfuneralhome.com
