Hallie Mae Smith

HALLIE MAE SMITH, age 95, formerly of Camden, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Heartland of Miamisburg. Born on August 21, 1915 in Estill County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Jess & Bertha (Hendricks) Webb. She retired in 1970 from McCullough Hyde Hospital after many years as a cook. Member of the Northside Chapel, First Church of God in Camden, Ohio.

Preceded in death by her husband, Roy Smith in 1995; infant son, Everett; step son, Jimmie Ray Smith; brothers, Earl, Lloyd, Mason, and Ray Webb; sister, Mabel Crew.

Survived by her daughters, Loretta Caton of Centerville, Ohio and Gail Little Feather (Gray) Hawk of Corbin, Kentucky; son, Jesse Jones of Camden, Ohio; step daughter, Margaret (Charles) Zehner of Winimac, Indiana; grandchildren, Rebecca (Jeff), Missy (Steve), Randal, Crystal (Matthew), Angie (Patrick), Jamie, Hallie, Tiffany, Kayla and Jesse; 5 step grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several great great children; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was a devoted and loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend to many.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the Northside Chapel, First Church of God, 6820 North Main Street, Camden, Ohio 45311 with Rev. Wade Crosby officiating. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Camden, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Northside Chapel, First Church of God, 6820 North Main Street, Camden, Ohio 45311.
