George E. Collier

George E. "Ed" Collier, 62, of Camden, Ohio, died Tuesday, November 30, 2010 in Cleveland, Ohio. Born June 13, 1948 in Middletown, Ohio, he was the son of the late Oscar B. & Ruth E. (Hummell) Collier. Ed graduated in 1966 from Preble Shawnee High School. Ed proudly served in the US Navy from 1968 to 1971. Ed retired in 2003 after 36 ½ years at AK Steel in Middletown, Ohio. Member of the Northside Chapel First Church of God in Camden, Ohio.

Survived by his children & spouses, Joseph "Joe" & Gina Hauser of Trenton, Ohio, Delores "Evie" & Don Fronk of Osgood, Indiana, and George "Eddie" Collier II of Camden, Ohio; brother & sister-in-law, Dennis Dale & Sandra Collier of Camden, Ohio; sisters & brothers-in-law, Cathy Coleen & Gary Wright and Beverly Darlene & Ernest Root all of Camden, Ohio; grandchildren, Robbie, Michael, Jacob, Destiny, and Dakota; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the Northside Chapel First Church of God, 6820 North Main Street, Camden, Ohio 45311 with Rev. Wade Crosby officiating. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, Ohio with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends on Friday, December 3, 2010 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Nein - Barnes Funeral Home, 249 North Main Street, Camden, Ohio.
