Ernest E. Pester, Jr.

Ernest E. Pester, Jr., 81 of Lewisburg, OH, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019 in Brookville, OH. Born on February 3, 1938 in Dayton, OH, he was the son of the late Ernest E. & Lella C. (Syx) Pester, Sr. He was a retired supervisor from GM in Dayton, member of the FMC at GM, a 1956 graduate of Kiser High School, veteran of the USMC, he sold real-estate in the area for many years, long-time member and former President of the Preble County Fair Board, 4-H advisor and a cowboy. Preceded in death by his brothers: Dennis and Jack King and granddaughter: Jordan Lynn Johnson and brother-in-law: Ken Steinke. 

He is survived by his Wife: N. Marcella (Johnson) Pester; Daughters: Tammy Holley and Sandra (Jason Kerby) Johnson; Sister: Loy (Art) Cerf: Brothers: Ron (Peg) Pester and Gary (Carol) Pester; Granddaughter: Jessica (Dale) Spitler; Great Grandchildren: Bella & Cooper Cherry and Bryson Spitler; Sister-in-law: Mae Steinke; Nieces and Nephews; Special Friends: Butch and Ginger Lauver. 

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 P.M. on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg with military honors by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Friday prior to the funeral service.
