Edward Lee Corey

EDWARD LEE COREY, age 66 of New Paris, Ohio died Saturday, January 10, 2004 at Mercy Franciscan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on February 8, 1937 in Hamilton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Leonard & Bertha E.(Johnson) Corey. He worked at Green Tokai in Brookville, Ohio for the past five years and was a Korean and Vietnam veteran in the U.S. Air Force. He was a musician and loved playing the guitar and singing with various bands. He was a great friend and a wonderful member of the family and he will be truly missed. Ed was loved by all that knew him. He lived a great life and touched many hearts. Ed always had a smile on his face and was always willing to share that smile if he thought you needed one. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a Niece: Linda F. Kaufhold in 2003.

Survived by Sons: Edward Lee Corey, Jr. of New Paris, Ohio and Richard L. Corey of Madison, Wisconsin; Daughters: Cheryl L. Witherill of Lake Tahoe, California and Christina L. Bethke of Madison, Wisconsin; Sisters: Jean Whitaker of New Paris, Ohio, Ann Keene of Cannon, Kentucky and Eva Vickers of Richmond, Kentucky, Six Granddaughters, Three Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2004 - 2:00 P.M. at The First Baptist Church -6751 St. Rt. 320 - New Paris, Ohio 45347 with Rev. Justin Murphy officiating.
