Doris Mcadams

DORIS B. (BUNGER) MC ADAMS, 92, of Brookville, Ohio, died Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Brookhaven Retirement Community in Brookville. She was born on February 7, 1918 in Lewisburg, Ohio, daughter of the late Otto Curtis & Mary Francis (Hilleary) Bunger. Doris was a graduate of Lewisburg Union High School and was retired from American Abrasive in Brookville. Doris was the owner and operator of the Yarn Basket in Brookville and coordinated many knitting and machine knitting clubs. Doris was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lewisburg, Ohio and former member of the Rebecca Lodge in Lewisburg.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Leonard Mc Adams in 2001; brothers, Richard and Carl Bunger; sisters, Helen Beavers, Francis Wright and Virginia Rasor; great grandson, Joseph Faulconer; step son, Albert McAdams and step daughter, Sara Ward.

Doris is survived by her daughters, Joan Pease of Farmersville, Ohio and Judy Myers of Brookville, Ohio; son, Michael Eugene Mt.Castle of Beavercreek, Ohio; step son, John McAdams of Brookville; brother, James Bunger of Germantown, Ohio; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 10, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 511 North Commerce St., Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Brent L. Cavendish officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church.
