Dennis I. Robertson

Dennis I. Robertson, 85, of Eaton, OH, died Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Hawthorn Glen in Middletown, OH. Born on October 6, 1932 in Hamilton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Berry I. & Ova (Oglesby) Robertson. Dennis retired in 1996 after 26 years at Harrison Radiator in Dayton. He was a 1950 graduate of Estill County High School, and a U.S. Army Medic veteran of the Korean Conflict serving on the front line. Member of the American Legion Post #215 in Eaton; Community Christian Church, West Alexandria, OH; avid bowler, walker and woodworker; sport enthusiasts; volunteer fireman at Camden, OH; active in Camden Little League; volunteer at several area food banks; devoted family man especially with the grandchildren; loved by many and missed by all.

Preceded in death by his wife: Doris M. (Woltz) Robertson in 2004; Brothers & Sisters: Lyle Robertson, Regina Seale, Bonneva Couch, Delbert Robertson, Delmar Robertson, Bernice Winkler and Donald Robertson.

Survived by Sons: Randy (Brenda) Robertson, and Gary (Cherrie) Robertson, Daughters, Rhonda (Greg) Via, and Vicky (Jerry) Harris; Brother: Paul Robertson; four grandchildren, Mike Friend, Devin Harris, Chelcie and Zach Via.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Doug Bottles officiating. Interment with military services will be provided by the Preble County Honor Guard in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden. Family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
