David S. Moore

David S. Moore, 57 of New Paris, OH, died Friday, November 13, 2015 in Richmond, IN. David was born on March 31, 1958 in Richmond, IN the son of the late Allen C. & Elizabeth Eloise (Mann) Moore. David was a 1976 National Trail High School graduate and served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed with Ernst Concrete of Richmond, IN for 12 years, member of the N.R.A. and Laborers' International Union of North America - Local 1112 of Muncie, IN. An avid Gold Wing Motorcyclist, loved to hunt, fish, find mushrooms, watch NASCAR racing, football, old movies and a devoted grandfather.

Survived by his children: Brian D. & Donna Moore, Jessica & Bill Updegraff and Sabrina Wallace & David Hawley all of New Paris, OH; Fiancée Melissa L. Hawley; sister: Danita J. (Robert) Cook of Eldorado, OH; brothers: Doug A. (Beth) Moore of Troy, OH and Darrin L. (Memory) Moore of Tipp City, OH; 8 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Barnes Funeral Home 109 West Main Street New Paris, OH. The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the funeral home with Bob Bishop officiating. Interment will be in Ridge Cemetery – 397 Garwood Road Richmond, IN with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
