David D. Hampton

David D. Hampton, age 83 of New Madison, Ohio passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.  He was born on Sunday, September 15, 1935 in the Little Goose Community of Manchester to James and Ranie Back Hampton. 

Preceded in death by his parents: James and Ranie (Back) Hampton, son: Phillip Barry Hampton, brothers: Burnette Hampton, Robert Hampton, Otis Hampton, Alan Hampton, Wayne Hampton, Steve Hampton and Albert Hampton; sisters: Tina, Effie, Topsy and Maxine. 

Survived by his wife Ruby (Jones) Hampton, his son: Marty Hampton, daughter: Michelle Ann Bright, 4 grandsons, 3 great grandsons and one brother: Henry Clay Hampton. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 5:30 PM until 7 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel 402 Richmond Road Manchester, KY. He will be laid to rest in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.  

Ohio arrangements were in trust to Barnes Funeral Homes. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Kentucky Mountain Missions, Salvation Army or the Darke County Cancer Society of Ohio.
