Dale A. Weherley

Dale A. "Geezer" Weherley, 68, of West Manchester, died Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the Brethren's Home, Greenville, Ohio, following a short illness.

He was born November 1, 1939 in Eaton, OH, the son of Dale George & Helen Maxine (Cottrell) Weherley, who preceded him in death. Dale was a well known area electrician, retired from Wayne Hospital, Maintenance Department. He was always willing to help others whenever possible, and will be greatly missed by many. He was a lifetime member of the Eldorado AmVets Post 726; past member of the West Manchester Village Council and Fire Department.

Dale is survived by his wife of 50 years, Geraldine S. (Richards) Weherley; 4 sons: Bobby Gene (Jill) Weherley of West Manchester; Toby L. (Diana) Weherley of Greenville; Dale George Weherley of Eldorado, Todd A. Weherley of West Manchester; 1 daughter: Tracy L. (Patrick) Magill of New Paris; 7 grandchildren; 2 brothers: Richard (Carolyn) Francis of Eaton ; Harvey (Janet) Weherley of Camden; 3 sisters: Jackie (Carl) Denlinger of Eldorado; Charlotte (Terry) Pullon & Jodi (Ned) Hunsucker of Eaton; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Dale A. Weherley will be Wednesday, March 19th, at 1:00PM at the Bussard-Barnes-Vaniman Funeral Home, 311 N. Main St., Eldorado, OH, with Reverend Hershel Fee officiating. Burial will be in Monroe Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call Tuesday, March 18th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
