Connie Ford

Constance Ilene "Connie" Ford, age 77, of New Paris, Ohio, died Friday, October 14, 2011 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Born on September 19, 1934 in New Paris, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Walter Ray & Zella Marguerite (Baker) Pickett. Connie was a 1952 graduate of Jefferson Township High School. Connie retired in 1992 after 14 years as a cook for C. R. Coblentz Schools. Member of Delta Theta Tau of New Paris. Member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in New Paris.

Preceded by husband, Henry E. Ford in 1993; son, Thomas H. "Tom" Ford in 2007; grandson, Charles "Chad" Ford in 2010.

Survived by daughter, Julie B. McKnight of New Paris; son, Frank R. (Tammy) Ford of New Paris; brother, Robert E. (Betty) Pickett of New Paris; grandchildren, Tara Ford, and Nicholas McKnight; great grandson, Jason Vicich.

Graveside Service will be 1:30 pm, Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris with Tim Love officiating.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, October 18, 2011 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio followed by a prayer service at 1:00 pm.
