Clifford K. Whitesell

Clifford K. Whitesell, age 90, of Eaton, OH died Monday, October 4, 2010 at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, OH. Born on February 6, 1920 in Preble County, OH, the son of the late Clarence Edgar & Jennie (Laird) Whitesell. Clifford was a Israel Township Farmer and in 1985 retired as the Mill Foreman at the Preble County Landmark in Eaton. He received the Feed Mill Man of the Year Area 2 award for two years. In 1977 he was the Ohio Top Mill Man of the year, a member of Sugar Valley United Methodist Church, Preble County Farm Bureau and the Discussion Group #13 Happy Workers. Preceded in death by a brother: Louis S. Whitesell in 2009.

Survived by Wife of 62 years: Violet (Lentz) Whitesell; daughters & sons-in-law: Marcena & Galen Smith of Kettering, OH and Malia & Curtis Uhrin of Brookville, PA; grandchildren: Marissa (David) Ericson, Marin (Wade) Griffiths, Nathan Uhrin, Jared Uhrin and Chad Uhrin; One great granddaughter: Penelope Ericson, several nieces & nephews.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 8, 2010 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main St., Eaton, OH with Rev. George Copus officiating. Interment will be in Eversole Cemetery, New Lebanon, OH. Family will receive friends on Friday, October 8, 2010 from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
