Clarence B. Jack Frazier

CLARENCE B. “JACK” FRAZIER, age 96, of Eaton, Ohio died Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at his residence. Born on September 15, 1910 near College Corner, Indiana, he was the son of the late James Thomas & Pearl (Covington) Frazier. He was a 1928 graduate of Dixon High School. He was an Israel Township farmer and from 1951 to 1954 he had worked at the Southland Oil Company in Tucson, Arizona. From 1954 to 1968 he was a missionary in Ganado, Arizona and retired in 1976 from the Ganado Public Schools where he had been a Bookkeeper and business manager since 1968. In 1978 Jack and his wife Ethel returned to Preble County. Member of the Fairhaven Community Chuch and the Eaton Optimist Club. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife: Ethel M. (Lybrook) Frazier in 2003; son: Donald Lewis Frazier in 1957; brothers: Harry and Carl Frazier and sisters: Carmen F. McWhinney, Geneva Calhoun and Betty Jo Rorabeck.

He is survived by sons & daughter-in-law: Harry James Frazier of Eaton and Harold Gordon & Karen D. Frazier of Ashville, Ohio. Three Grandchildren and Six Great Grandchildren.


Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at the Fairhaven Community Church- 6585 Israel Somers Rd - Camden, Ohio with Rev. Ralph R. Gutowski officiating. Interment will be held in Fairhaven Cemetery in Fairhaven. Family will receive friends on Friday, May 4, 2007 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Barnes Funeral Home- 220 East Main Street- Eaton, Ohio 45320 and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Fairhaven Community Church- 6585 Israel Somers Road- Camden, Ohio 45311.
