Chester Norman Welz, Jr.

Chester Norman Welz, Jr., 64, of New Paris, OH, formerly of West Alexandria, OH, died Tuesday, December 17, 2019.  Born on August 19, 1955, he was the son of the late Chester Norman, Sr. and Mary J. (Sabo) Welz.  He was a passionate karaoke singer and loved spending time with his children. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorilei (Davis) Welz in July of 2013, and sister, Margaret Barker in October of 2019. 

He is survived by sons, Chester and William Welz; daughters Mary and Elizabeth Welz of New Paris, OH; sisters Julianne Egner of Eaton OH, and Kathy (Bill) Richardson of Naples, FL; grandchildren; nieces and nephews. 

Memorial Service will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the First Baptist Church of New Paris, 6751 State Route 320, New Paris, OH, with Pastor Steve Whalen officiating.  Family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00am to 10:30am at the church.
