Charlene Mae Klipfer

Charlene Mae Klipfer, age 68 of Eaton, Ohio, died at her home on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. Born on February 16, 1953, in Troy, Ohio, she was a 1971 graduate of Miami East High School in Casstown, Ohio and attended Edison College in Piqua, where she studied social work. Charlene retired in 2017 from the Preble County Department of Job and Family Services in Eaton where she was a clerk for many years.

Charlene was preceded in death by her father, Charles Donald Hampton in 2001, half-brother, Steven Stine and her sister, Cathy Barker, brother-in-law: Robert Hunter.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, James M. Klipfer; mother, Barbara Carol Boggs; son and daughter-in-law, Sean and Tammy Martin; brother, Charles (Debra) Hampton; sister, Robyn Hunter; stepson, James T. (Kristen) Klipfer; brother-in-law, Charles (Cynthia) Klipfer, Jr.; sister-in-law, Mary (Mick) Copper; grandchildren, Zachery (Kimberly) Martin, Samantha  Martin and Evelynne Klipfer and great granddaughter, Charlotte Martin; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Russ Ruebush officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
