Carol Jean Gebhart

Carol Jean (Locke) Gebhart, age 87 of Lewisburg, Ohio died Saturday, June 4, 2022 at her residence. Born on June 28, 1934 in Lewisburg, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Herschel A. & Edith May (Milstead) Locke. Carol had worked at Brennan’s IGA for many years, a 1952 Lewisburg Union High School graduate and was a member of Trinity Church of Lewisburg and was active with Wednesday night meals at the church. She was a founding member of the Rowdy Widows Club in Lewisburg.

Preceded in death by her Husband: Claude Emerson Gebhart in 2002; Siblings: Helen Bernice Locke, Robert Eugene Locke, Harold Edward Locke and Jerrold Dean Locke.

Survived by her Sons and Daughters-in-law: Todd E. & Rhonda L. Gebhart, Lewisburg, Ohio, Scott M. & Michelle L. Gebhart, Eaton, Ohio; Daughter and Son-in-law: Vicki J. & David Fryman, Union, Ohio; Grandchildren: Katelynn (Matt) Sylvia, Cynthia Fryman, Ryan (Danielle) Gebhart, Kyle (Kourtney) Gebhart, Jessica (Justin Loxley) Gebhart, Emma Gebhart and Mackenzie Gebhart; Great Grandchildren: Bennett, Boone and one on the way. Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Trinity Church of Lewisburg, 511 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio with Pastor Gary Sollenberger officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the church.
