Carl Dean Smith

Carl Dean Smith, 62, of Lewisburg, OH died, Sunday, June 12, 2016 at his residence. Born on May 22, 1954 in Dayton, OH, he was the son of the late Robert A. & Billie Jean (Richards) Smith. Carl retired after 30 years with GM and was a member of the AMVETS in Brookville, OH. Preceded in death by his Brother: Robert Charles Smith.

Survived by his Wife: Debra Kay (Agee) Smith; Children: Christy Ann Smith and Cindy Ann Smith, both of Middletown, OH; Billy Ray Roberson, Kettering, OH and Angela Marie Roberson, Miamisburg, OH; Siblings: Steven Edward (Kathy) Smith, Kirk Alan (Lois) Smith and Ginny Louise (Dean) Daugherty, all of Arcanum, OH; Step Mother: Josephine (Morningstar) Dear, Ithaca, OH; Sister-in-law: Robin Smith, Michigan. Grandchildren: Samantha, Kyle, Bryant, James, Mackenzie, Arian, Jason, Caden, Brittany Ann and James Dustin; Great Grandchild: James Dustin, Jr. Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, OH with Pastor Jim Hazelwood officiating. Interment will be held in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Knox County, TN on Friday. Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 5:00 to7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
