Bryce E. Kimbler

BRYCE E. KIMBLER, age 80, of Eaton, Ohio died Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Vancrest Health Care Center of Eaton. Born on October 27, 1926 in Boons Camp, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Benjamin H. & Mary G. (Mollett) Kimbler. He retired in 1989 from Inland Division of General Motors in Vandalia, Ohio with over 30 years of service. He was a Marine Corp veteran of WW II, member of Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Ohio, Past Master of Friendship Chapter #245 of West Carrollton, Ohio, Fellowship Lodge #106 F & AM and American Legion Post, both in New Paris, Ohio. Preceded in death by wife: Gladys V. (Meek) Kimbler in 1999; son: Mark J. Kimbler in 2002; half sisters: Hazel Long and Clara Sprigs; half brother: Benjamin Stanford.


Survived by son & daughter-in-law: Matthew W. & Doris R. Kimbler, Eaton, OH; brother: Nolen Kimbler, Kettering, OH; grandchildren: Jessica Kimbler-Haas, Joseph, Bryce, Mariah, Kelsey & Destiny Kimbler.


Funeral Service will be held on Thursday April 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Jay Madigan officiating. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio at 1:00 p.m. with full military graveside honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home with Masonic services at 7:45 p.m.
