Brenda Sue Smith

BRENDA S. SMITH, age 47 of Eaton, OH and formerly of Burlington, Iowa, passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family and loved ones on Sunday, September 23, 2007 at her mothers home. A native of Ohio, she was born on June 11, 1960 in Montgomery County, Ohio. After seeing her children successfully complete their educations, she graduated from Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, Iowa on May 5, 2004 with her degree in Nursing. She was a RN and Triage Nurse for 4 years having been a traveling nurse in Iowa for three years and a year for Care Source in Dayton. Preceded in death by her Father: Floyd Allen in 1988, Sister: Kelly Allen in 1991 and Granddaughter: Brianna Schappaugh in 2005.

Survived by Husband of 28 years: Jimmie Smith; Mother: Sharon (Smyer) Allen, Eaton, OH; Children: Jerome Allen, Jason Schappaugh and Stormie (John) Goodin, all of Burlington, IA and Donna (Jim) Bursey of Massachusetts; Grandchildren: Aurora Caston, Shane Smith, Kearra Hamor, Jacob Goodin, Desiree Jackson, Austin Schappaugh, Eric and Melissa Bursey, Rusty and Angel Cavallo. Brother: Larry (Mary Ann) Allen, Brookville, OH; Sisters: Linda DeCarlo and Wendy Allen, both of Eaton.

A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. at the Full Gospel Temple - 4745 N. U.S. Rt. 127 - Eaton, Ohio with Pastor Kenneth Harbaum officiating.
