Betty June Hoblit

BETTY JUNE (DAVIS) HOBLIT, age 77, of Brookville, Ohio, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. Born on January 11, 1931 in Brookville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Marion S. & Mary C. (Curtin) Davis. Betty graduated in 1949 from Lewisburg Union High School. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lewisburg, Ohio.

Preceded in death by her brother, Byron E. Davis in 1945, Battle of the Buldge, World War II.

Survived by her husband of 58 years, Gerald Hoblit; sons & daughter-in-laws, Terry Hoblit of Miamisburg, Ohio, Randall L. & Karen Hoblit of Victoria, Texas and Rick Hoblit of Riverside, Ohio; grandchildren, Robert Hoblit of Muscogee, Oklahoma, Susan Rayle of Union, Ohio, Dixie Hoblit of Victoria, Texas, Chase Allan Hoblit, Mackenzie Rae Hoblit both of West Carrollton, Ohio, Matthew Scott Hoblit, and Jordan Hoblit both of Riverside, Ohio; step grandchild, Dennis E. McCollom of Dixon, Tennessee; great grandchild, Cameron Rayle of Union, Ohio; brother & sister-in-law, Larry & Georgia Davis of Boonville, Missouri; nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 31, 2008 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 511 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Brent Cavendish officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior at the church. Interment will be held at Arlington Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio.
